Bungy Jumping

Kawarau Bridge Bungy is home to the original 43 metre Bungy Jump. It’s where Bungy founders AJ Hackett and Henry van Ash started it all.

Snow Sports

Ready for some of the best snow skiing and boarding in New Zealand? There are four great ski resorts at your doorstep, Coronet Peak is only 25 minutes drive from Queenstown and The Remarkables 40 minutes away. While Treble Cone and Cardrona are within 90 and 60 minutes of town, respectively.

Mountain Biking

The world-class Queenstown Bike Park offers gondola-accessed downhill mountain biking with over 30 kms of purpose built tracks. For those looking for cross-country mountain biking the Queenstown Trail offers over 100 kms of trails with varying rider levels.

Cruises on Lake Wakatipu

Cruise on Queenstown’s iconic vintage steamship the TSS Earnslaw. Recently celebrating its centenary the TSS Earnslaw operates through out the day with various cruise options including lunch and dinner cruises and the popular cruise to Walter Peak High Country Farm where you can learn about life on a farm and enjoy a great morning or afternoon tea.

·         Frankton Golf Centre – Close to town and handy to the airport the Frankton Golf Centre has a 9 hole course and driving range.

Skyline Gondola

The Skyline Gondola carries visitors high above Queenstown up to Bob’s Peak. The Skyline complex at the top includes awesome viewing decks, various dining options, Maori cultural shows and the exhilarating luge ride.

Paragliding

Tandem paragliding is one of the best adventure activities you can experience while visiting Queenstown. Flights leave from the top of the Skyline gondola or from Coronet Peak just 25 minutes out of town.

White Water Rafting
